Holidays are more than just an escape from daily life — they are an opportunity to expand, to heal, to experience life more fully. When we remove ourselves from routine, we create space for transformation.

I am a breathwork facilitator living in the Black Mountains, between Hereford and Abergavenny, and I’m available to guide you in a breathwork session whether staying with us or nearby in the Black Mountains, Hay-on-Wye or within 30 mins drive.

Breath is life, and wherever you go, your breath is with you. Yet, we often pay little attention to the breath and how it can support us. A Breathwork session will change that, guiding you in simple techniques, supporting you in discovering your breath and facilitating you through a deep process for your inner and outer journey.

Being on holiday free from the constraints can help you leave behind attachments—work, obligations, the noise of modern life – creating the perfect space to explore breathwork. But a breathwork session is not about escaping life; it’s about engaging with it more fully, with fresh energy and renewed purpose, and learning a new tool to support you in the day to day to be the best version of yourself.

Breathwork promotes self-awareness, emotional release, and a sense of presence. It allows for the release of physical and emotional tension, with people experiencing a range of sensations and emotions, ultimately tapping into the body’s innate ability to release stored trauma, reduce stress, and foster a sense of peace. It can be a gateway to profound inner discovery – and the beauty of breathwork is that it requires nothing but your willingness to breathe fully and consciously.

A guided session ensures that you are fully supported in your journey, allowing you to go deeper into the practice while feeling safe and held, designed to complement where you are at, and helping you return home not only refreshed but with lasting tools for well-being.

Details:

I am based on the edge of the Black Mountains between Hereford and Abergavenny. Sessions can take place at your venue (within 30mins drive) or we can arrange for you to do a session at Warmth and Wonder, my home and land near Longtown.

Sessions cost £90 for 1hr 30mins for up to 2 people – groups can be accommodated for an extra cost depending on your requirements. 

I also offer online sessions, which offers you the opportunity to go deeper over time with follow-up sessions.

While breathwork is generally safe, it may not be suitable for individuals with certain medical conditions. As a precaution there are some health contraindications to be aware of and you will need to agree to the Medical Waiver to book. Breathwork is a powerful practice that uses conscious breathing techniques to promote physical, emotional, and mental wellbeing. It can help release tension, reduce stress, and foster a deeper connection with yourself.

My sessions will use a continuous and intentional breathing pattern, that allows the body’s natural wisdom to guide the process and promote holistic well-being. This usually involves Conscious Connected Breathing (CCB), which is a breathing technique where the breather intentionally connects the inhale with the exhale without any pauses. It allows deep awareness of self and for our connection with self, others and nature to develop, providing the groundwork for profound personal development.

Breathwork is a powerful healing modality and although usually a deeply relaxing and enjoyable process, it can result in certain specific physiological changes in the body and also sometimes intense physical and emotional release.

Sessions can cause tingling, dizziness, trembling, shaking or other physical sensations, emotional experiences and experience of energy moving through your body.

While breathwork is generally safe, it may not be suitable for individuals with certain medical conditions. As a precaution some health conditions are contraindicated for anyone thinking of practicing the Conscious Connected Breath and it is crucial that you inform me before a session. In most cases you can still join but I will guide you accordingly. If you have any concerns, please consult with your healthcare provider before the session.

Absolutely! My sessions are designed to be accessible to everyone, regardless of experience. I’ll guide you through simple techniques and ensure you feel comfortable and supported.

We’ll usually start with a chat about what you would like to get from the session, and an introduction to breathwork and breathing techniques, and in particular Conscious Connected Breathing. We’ll then ensure you space is setup best to support you, you can be sitting or lying down, and we I will then guide and support you in a ‘breathe’. People often experience a range of sensations and emotions, including feelings of peace, clarity, and release, and I will guide you to process the experience. We will end with an opportunity to share and discuss what came up, to help integration. I will also share other techniques and tools to support you in your continued journey.

Wear comfortable, loose clothing that allows you to breathe freely. It would also be helpful to have a blanket or extra layers to hand for added comfort.

Bring a water bottle and notepad – and do also have any medication that you may need to hand (e.g. asthma inhaler).

That is completely normal. I create a safe and supportive environment for you to explore your emotions. I will be there to guide you through the process.

You will need a quiet space where we won’t be interrupted, ideally with somewhere you can comfortably lie or sit down. The session can take place inside or outside, depending on your preference, the weather and a suitable accessible space.

Sessions can take place at your venue within a 30-minute drive of Longtown, or at Warmth and Wonder, my home near Longtown, Herefordshire, on the edge of the Black Mountains.
